Bhanurekha Ganesan, commonly known as Rekha, is an Indian actress who was born on October 10, 1954. Rekha began her career as a child actor in the Telugu film Rangula Ratnam in 1966, but her cinematic debut came four years later with Sawan Bhadon. Despite the success of several of her early films, she was frequently chastised for her appearance, and she was not acknowledged as an actor until the mid-1970s.

Career

In his 50-year career, Rekha has appeared in more than 180 films.
